We believe in paying a fair wage and by committing to financial transparency, we stay accountable to that value.
With our sliding scale in mind, Holistic Contentment has a goal of generating an average of $30 per scheduled hour. Below is a breakdown of where this money is directed.
Labor
74% of a scheduled hour is directed to labor. Of the $30 average per scheduled hour, this is $22.22
$16.05-$16.50 (wages) + $0.80 (PTO) + $.75 (Employee benefits plan)+ $2.25 (Business insurances and payroll taxes that are not deducted from workers paycheck, but are required for gainful employment)
Administrative Costs
22% of a scheduled hour is directed to administrative costs. Of the $30 average per scheduled hour, this is $6.60. This includes team training, office space, office supplies, advertising, and legal fees.
Profit
4% of a scheduled hour is directed to Profit. Of the $30 average per scheduled hour, this is $1.20
Where does our profit go?
10% of our profit goes directly towards local charities. Of the $30 average per scheduled hour, this is $0.12
10% of this profit goes directly towards Community Outreach. Of the $30 average per scheduled hour, this is $.12 Our outreach includes but is not limited to, free self-care courses for individuals of all ages and abilities, the organization of client/caregiver mixers with potential caregivers being checked for references etc, and all abilities mixers.)
Note: For any hours qualifying for sliding scale costs between $23.00 and $27 the money goes directly towards staffing and admin costs. Any funds per hour, above these amounts are able to be broken down into the further percentages for charity, community outreach, further business development etc and will be broken down to average out to our set percentages as labeled above.
